Head Professional – Will Burns:
Biography:
Will Burns was born in Cordoba, Argentina on 3rd January 1983. He went on to do a degree in Fine Art at Middlesex University where he first came across the game of Real Tennis and was fascinated by the intricacies and challenges of the sport. He became qualified as a professional in 2005 and took the post as Assistant Pro at Hatfield House. He returned to Middlesex University in 2012, since then he has gone on to become the Head Professional at the club and now has more than 15 years of experience. Will has gone on to do an MBA (Masters Business Administration) at Middlesex University to further improve himself in the business aspects of the job and was also RTPA (Real Tennis Professionals Association) Chairman which looks after the welfare of the professionals in the UK.

Trainee Professional – Jack Carter:
Biography:
Jack Carter was born in Essex on 29th May 1999. To pursue a career in the music industry, he moved to London to do a BA Music degree at Middlesex University where he first came across the game of Real Tennis. Following his first year, he became Captain of the student team for two seasons until he graduated and realised a passion for the game and began pursuing a career in Real Tennis. After the completion of his degree, he spent time interning at MCC Lords’ Real Tennis Club (covering Chris Bray) and Leamington Tennis Court Club (covering Lewis Williams) to gain valuable experience. He returned to MURTC in the summer of 2022, in a Trainee Professional capacity. Jack has since been working towards attaining his IIP Level 1 qualification whilst he has worked for the club.
